Mt. K Kapital is a real estate investment and fund management company built upon the cross-functional, all-encompassing expertise of specialists from the financial services and real estate sectors.

This innovative fund management firm was created by Binitha Dalal (founder) and Abdeali Tambawala (co-founder) by fusing their multidisciplinary experience in real estate development with their expertise in managing, lending, and financing pools of capital for various real estate projects.

The company treads with a holistic purview of being a differentiator to the fund management and real estate development business sector through a very well-rounded, knowledgeable, thorough, and integrated approach. Essentially, Mt. K strives to amalgamate fund management and development prowess to try and achieve optimum returns for investors.

Mt. K foresees a window of opportunity to invest in promising real estate projects by collaborating with HNIs, family offices, and institutional investors while redefining best practices for the industry. Along with the leading real estate developer Rustomjee as the development partner, Mt. Binitha Dalal

Binitha Dalal brings 15+ years of financial investment expertise and leadership experience to Mt. K Kapital. Over the years, Binitha has been actively involved in key fund-raising programs such as equity raises, debt management, treasury operations, and banking relations across banks and NBFCs. She has also directed acquisitions and strategic partnerships for various industry bodies across India.

Binitha is well known as one of the youngest industry leaders to have joined the Rustomjee Group, where she has been an integral part of the Finance Management and Fund Raising for the Group. Along with being an industry veteran, Binitha is currently an Angel Investor and Convener for Banking & Finance at CREDAI National as well as Joint Secretary at CREDAI MCHI.

Binitha has a Bachelor of Management Studies from Jai Hind College and is an alumna of IIM Bangalore through the CREDAI IIM Bangalore Real Estate Program.

Abdeali Tambawala

Co-Founder & Partner

Abdeali Tambawala has over 17 years of experience in the real estate industry, rising from numerous successful stints in the fund and wealth management domain with industry giants. At Mt. K Kapital, Abdeali oversees the conceptualization of funds, fundraising for both domestic and offshore markets, and investment management.

Between 2020 and now, Abdeali has successfully raised India’s first domestic warehousing fund at Welspun One Logistics Parks while also advising multiple real estate businesses on their expansion plans on a PAN India level. Before this, for more than a decade, Abdeali was a part of the Fund Management team at IIFL Asset Management that focused on Real Estate Investments; the firm raised and invested over USD 1 billion across real estate projects in the country. He has also been a part of the advisory board and investment committee for several funds.

Abdeali holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from the T.A. Pai Management Institute, Manipal.

Jai Baid

Principal- Fundraising

Jai Baid is a finance and management professional with over 16 years of experience in Mergers, Acquisitions & Divestments, Structured Fundraising, Debt Fundraising, Investment Banking and Equity Capital Market Transactions.

He is responsible for fostering strong relationships between Mt. K Kapital and its investors and the broader financial community. With a deep understanding of financial markets, corporate strategy, and effective communication, he plays a key role in ensuring transparency, trust, and confidence in our organization. Additionally, he actively seeks out potential investors and maintain relationships with them to expand our investor base.

Prior to working with MT K Kapital, Jai was working with Rustomjee Group and was instrumental in the Pre-IPO and IPO of Keystone Realtors Limited. Before this, he has worked with GMR Infrastructure Limited in their M&A division which was tasked with divestment of non-core assets. Jai has also worked with Edelweiss Financial Services in their Investment Banking division. Jai holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from the Welingkar Institute of Management, Mumbai and is a graduate from Kirori Mal College, Delhi University.

Jay Shah

Principal- Investments

Jay Shah has almost 20 years of experience across multiple industries, with past 13 years in the real estate industry. Jay is a finance professional with proven track record in fields like business analysis, corporate finance, financial feasibility and real estate business development.

At Mt. K Kapital, Jay is responsible for business development function which identifies new real estate projects that meets the investment criteria of the fund by evaluating the technical and financial feasibility of the project. Jay also oversees the project management function where he ensures that the project execution adheres to the timelines and cost estimates used for underwriting the investment.

Prior to Mt. K Kapital, Jay had a 13 years stint with K Raheja Corp where he started with the Directors Office assisting the promoters in their hospitality vertical before moving on to a role in business development and contributed to over 15 deals involving outright land acquisition to joint developments to society redevelopment. Jay has done his BE (Instrumentation) and MMS (Finance) from Mumbai University. Jay is also a CFA® charterholder, CFA Institute.

Sristi Srivastava

Finance & Compliance officer

Having worked over 8 years, Sristi Srivastava, is an experienced professional in finance and accounting with expertise in various aspects of financial management, compliance, and reporting.

At Mt. K Kapital, Sristi prepares monthly financial reports, ensures filing and statutory compliance for taxes, and handles reconciliations. Proficient in finalizing accounts and conducting audits, Sristi is adept at managing tax returns, and income tax-related compliance. With knowledge of SEBI reporting, and other fund compliances, Sristi is capable of preparing and finalizing books of accounts, business plans, and financial statements. She is well-versed in ROC (Registrar of Companies) compliances and experienced in handling statutory audits.

Prior to Mt. K Kapital, Sristi made her mark while working for Wyridian Advisors Private Limited, Rimedo Advisors Private Limited, Grant Thornton. Sristi is a qualified CA, ICWA and a Graduate from Indira Gandhi National Open University.

Nirman Rathi

Senior Analyst

Nirman Rathi is a civil engineer with almost 9 years of experience in entire real estate project life cycle. He is skilled in project and cash flow management, performance monitoring, risk assessment and process designing & review.

At Mt. K Kapital, Nirman is part of the asset monitoring team and reviews project performance. He analyses the entire portfolio of real estate assets, develops and implements strategies and optimizes asset performance to maximize returns. Nirman will also collaborate with the stakeholders and define strategies based on performance data and emerging market risk.

Prior to Mt. K Kapital, Nirman served in management and consulting roles at Kalpataru Ltd. and Ernst & Young, overseeing project strategy and monitoring, process re-engineering, preparation of annual operating plan (AOP), financial modelling, forensic reviews and other process improvements across real estate projects. Nirman is a civil engineer and a postgraduate in advanced construction management from NICMAR, Pune.

Charu Kukreja

Marketing & Communications

Charu Kukreja is a dynamic and enthusiastic professional who has recently embarked on her journey in the corporate world as a Marketing and Communications professional at Mt. K Kapital. Eager to make her mark, she brings a lot of energy and creativity, to her role.

Charu manages the Mt. K Kapital’s social media presence. She collaborates to create marketing content and coordinates with marketing agencies for their deliverables. Her passion for marketing and communications, coupled with her fresh perspective, promises to be an asset in shaping Mt. K Kapital's brand identity and outreach strategies.

Prior to this role, Charu completed internships in media industry, particularly in events and advertising. She holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from the Welingkar Institute of Management, Mumbai and is a graduate from K.P.B. Hinduja College, Mumbai University.

Cherylann Ghadi

Director’s Office & Administration

Cherylann Ghadi has 14 + years of experience in Customer Relationships and Customer Services. With her sound communication, she plays an importance role in Liaison and team collaboration.

At Mt. K Kapital, Cherylann is providing comprehensive support to senior executives, particularly founders and management teams. With an adept approach to organization and confidentiality, she successfully manages schedules, arranges appointments and travel, and maintains crucial databases.

Prior to this, Cherylann has worked as Dy Manager at Jet Airways (India) Private Limited, where she displayed skills in team management and training.

Shishir Jha

Consultant

Shishir Jha is a formidable finance professional with 16+ years of experience as a finance specialist working in the real estate industry. He is skilled in corporate finance, taxation, business strategy, financial analysis, and RERA.

At Mt. K Kapital, Shishir plays a key role in the conceptualization of funds and assessing the viability of projects. He leads the Project Investment team that oversees project feasibility studies and reviews project cash flows as well as the due diligence process to identify projects meeting investment criteria. Shishir presides over all the finances, accounts, and taxation matters at Mt. K Kapital.

Prior to the inception of Mt. K Kapital, Shishir served in leadership roles at Keystone Realtors Private Limited, Conceptual Advisory LLP, and Romell Real Estate Group, overseeing project feasibility studies and due diligence, and fund raising through debt and equity instruments. Shishir is a qualified CA, CS, L.L.B. (Gen.), and a graduate of Mumbai University.
